• Doctorat d'Ingénieur : "Information et longueur avec coûts, Hémi-questionnaires et Cluedo".

Thèse soutenue le 18 Juin 1980 à l'Université Paris VI sous la direction de Bernadette Bouchon-Meunier.

• Doctorat d'Etat : "Une approche logique du raisonnement incertain", mention très honorable.

DESCRIPTION DE LA RECHERCHE :

Mes recherches sont centrées autour de la représentation et des traitements des connaissances dans les environnements incertains et imprécis. Les logiques multivalentes et la logique floue ont longtemps été et sont toujours mes centres d’intérêt. Une bonne partie de mes travaux concernent la recherche fondamentale. Néanmoins, je m’intéresse à la recherche applicative à travers les applications telles que le Data Mining, l’indexation d’images, la cotation des renseignements, l’exploitation des Systèmes d’Information Géographique (SIG), le multimédia, les réseaux sociaux, la Robotique, les logiciels libres, le diagnostic et le pronostic, la recherche des outliers...

J’ai à mon actif plus de 180 publications/communications dont un tiers dans des revues (ou chapitres de livre).

J’ai été élu en 2012 au Conseil Scientifique du PRES Paris VIII-Paris X (Université Paris Lumières) pour deux ans, et au conseil d’UFR MITSIC (Mathématiques, Informatique, Technologies, Sciences de l'Information et de la Communication) également pour deux ans, par la suite réélu au conseil d’UFR en 2014 pour quatre ans. J’ai été le Vice Président Professeur du Comité Consultatif de la 27ème section à P8 de 2012 à 2021.

J'ai été élu en 2016 (pour quatre ans) à la Commission Scientifique et au Conseil Académique de l'Université Paris VIII. J’ai également fait partie du Conseil Académique Restreint.

 

EXPERTISES :

 

Expert permanent auprès du Conseil de Recherche en Sciences Naturelles et en génie du Canada. Rapporteur sur des demandes de subvention des chercheurs canadiens depuis 2000.

Expert français auprès de l'Ambassade de France au Kenya concernant les projets de recherche franco-kenyans et l'attribution des bourses du gouvernement français aux doctorants kenyans entre 2013 et 2017.

Expert au CAP DIGITAL, Paris, entre 2009 et 2014.

Expert permanent auprès du Fonds pour la formation de Chercheurs et l'Aide à la Recherche du Québec. Rapporteur sur des demandes de subvention des équipes de recherche québecoises depuis 1999.

Porteur d'un contrat de thèse CIFRE avec ZODIAC AEROSPACE, Precilec Aircraft Systems, SeatNet Business Unit (Zodiac Actuation System), dans le cadre de l’amélioration des systèmes de commandes et du diagnostic des pannes des sièges d’avion, 2014-2018.

Porteur d'un contrat de collaboration (prolongé deux fois) également avec ZODIAC AEROSPACE, Precilec Aircraft Systems, SeatNet Business Unit (actuellement Zodiac Actuation System), dans le cadre de l’amélioration des systèmes de commandes et du diagnostic des pannes des sièges d’avion, en utilisant la logique floue, l’abduction et les techniques de la Robotique, 2012-2016.

Participation en 2015 au projet « RMIS : Système d'identification des mélodies filmées » de la Comue « Université Paris-Lumières ». C'était une collaboration avec le laboratoire d'Anthropologie LESC-CREM de l'Université Paris X.
